Dell Inspiron 1100

Gotta say elive dressed up the old laptop rather nicely. Installation was pretty much painless. Had a little work to do to get wireless networking going. Graphics was a small problem. Elive wants me to have a 800x600 resolution but I'd much rather use 1024x768. After the install I just had to edit grub where elive passed a vga=788 and change that to vga=792

Every other file I looked at had the correct resolution (1024x768) thought it a bit unusual for the 800x600 to be forced by grub.

Other than those 2 small issues everything else seems to be working out of the box.

G'day,
