Hi,

i have install elive some week ago... i search on internet and on this forum, but i can't connect to my wlan...

I have install ndiswrapper's driver for broadcom 1390 wlan mini... i have update wpa_suppliant... i try wifi-wiz and wicd: i see the essid of my network, i use the static ip adress, i use WPA encription (and relative key)... but i can't connect to the network...

i can't understund why, in iwconfig output my wlan0 is NOT associated at my wifi-network...

I replay to myself:

in the actual version of wpa-suppliant: the only WPA driver accepted are WEXT.

So in WICD (for example) Preferences --> WPA Driver --> WEXT

I have config ndiswrapper first, because i think need the demon of the driver wireless card, but the program need the WPA driver... are two different things.

Ok, (i use static-ip) i have solved.
