Couple of hardware items to report, after installing and configuring 1.9.47 Development:
1. Audio chip is Realtek ALC272, which shows up with lspci -vv as:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High
Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)
Subsystem Toshiba America Info Systems Device ff6e
The ALSA snd-hda-intel driver does not have a working option to enable sound from the speakers. So, you have to install OSS from [
www.opensound.com] get the i386 .deb file. Then you can run dpkg-reconfigure linux-sound-base and set it to OSS, and you will have speaker sound.
2. To shut it down, the "Power Off" button works, but "Suspend" and "Hibernate" do not. But it does already have pm-utils installed, so from the root terminal command line you can run pm-hibernate and pm-suspend and they will work. To fix the buttons, open /etc/enlightenment/sysactions.conf and edit these lines:
action: suspend /user/sbin/hebernate --suspend
action: hibernate /user/sbin/hebernate --hibernate
change them to read:
action: suspend /user/sbin/pm-suspend
action: hibernate /user/sbin/pm-hibernate
Everything else including the webcom works OTB.
