Intel 4965 agn? and Nvidia

the stable version does not recognize my wireless card, can it? I noticed the kernel is pretty old.

Also, I can only boot up using vesa driver, nvidia driver crashes X.

Wireless card: Intel 4965 agn
Video: Nvidia 8600GT ddr3

I wish you guys would build these distros on a modern laptop....no one uses desktops anymore
