(Solved!) Moniter Extension
May 29, 2009 07:58AM
hello elive users,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to extend your desktop onto an external monitor. It is currently set up that i can see the exact same thing on the monitor as the computer but what i really want to do is make it an extension so i have more desktop space. If anyone can help me out here that would be greatly appreciated.

That unfortunately did not work. It said bash: aticonfig is not a recognized command.

Any ideas?

ARgh, aticonfig is not installed :/
To install it use :

su
apt-get install module-assistant
m-a prepare
m-a update
m-a a-i fglrx

And after try aticonfig ^^
