Storage expansion slot AAO

Hi all;

Would it be possible to add the 32 Gb SD-card in the storage expansion slot of my Acer Aspire One to SSD-space, so that it grows from 16Gb to 48Gb?

Just to be sure we're on the same level:
when I bought this netbook, it had Linpus Linux Light, this distro made it possible to actually add diskspace to its 16Gb by using the storage expansionslot. So here's no second harddisk to the primary, but one HD with a bigger size...
