I just found my new laptop Linux Distro, I have a ECS (Elitegroup) G733 with:
Intel P4 3.0B Ghz 512K 533 FSB S478
512 MB PC2700 CL2.5 SODIMM
15" XGA LCD using up to 64 MB shared memory
80 GB HDD 5400 rpm (currently sporting 40 GB drive)
DVD-RW combo drive
The screen looks great using the "night" theme and everything works right from install. It looks like I will be learning the ins/outs of Debian now to add to my Gentoo/Slackware/Red Hat knowledge. Thanks for a great distro.
