Ok, I installed a fresh copy of Elive 2.0 on my new ( to me ) laptop.My laptop specs are as follows:
Intel core 2 Duo t2400 @ 1.8 Ghz
2GC DDR2 PC5300S Ram
60GB HD
Intel945 series video card
Atheros 2413 chip-based cardbus wifi adapter
Pro:
Everything works great so far. Lightning fast. Programs load up quickly, and close quickly. Havent had any hardware issues yet.
Con:
Only gripe is that the laptop freezes up on shutdown. Haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet, but from what I've been reading some other IBM/Lenovo laptop users have been having the same issue.
I'll keep this updated as I learn new things.
