I have just a quick question, can someone tell me how you install the themes? I have downloaded the themes that I like to the Downloads/Firefox folder, now what?

Well ,arts there are two easy ways to do so.

1)Mainmenu > settings > theme , check buttom personal and import , double-click the folder where you downloaded the theme and click Apply.

2)Open Thunar > go to the folder where you downloaded the themes and downloaded the theme copy, paste in e /.e / themes, then mainmenu> settings> themes and choose the one you want.

To see the route and e/.e/themes should have checked the option in thunar see hidden files.

I'm a little bit confused by your first option as there isn't a Mainmenu > settings > theme option, if you are referring to the configuration panel there is no option to import themes.

The 2nd option I have tried but nothing works, I have downloaded themes via synaptic but they don't have the ones that are on the elive site.

I have the stable Elive Gem version & I'm just in the E17 environment, maybe I haven't downloaded something I should have to get the themes working , do you know what packages need to be installed in synaptic?

I have no idea I have installed Compiz version 1.9.22.4, but even with Elive Revolution and the themes were changed in this way.(If I remember correctly).

I also installed Debian Lenny with E17 and the operation is the same.

Hi down8ve , thanks!!! , to install the Gtk theme "Wow", do this:
Download > Extract here , see a folder and inside that folder are several files .tar.gz , extract as root the file "WoW-Light.tar.gz" in the path usr/share/themes , have fun!!!!
