Hello Elive Users,

Does anyone know how to install songbird onto and elive system. I have tried everything, .tar.bz .deb i would have tried installation through the terminal but i cant find the songbird repository. anyway, i got close with the .deb but when i installed it it said extension firefox missing. Is that because I am using iceweasel not firefox? is there a way around this? and finally what is the easiest way to get songbird up and running on my computer!!!? Thanks in advance

this is one problem with elive.if there is going to be a cost for installing it,fine, support the people that produce these ditros.they deserve it.but in the case of elive, they need to make downloading and installing the newest software easier without having to pay for a "bonus disk"as well.ubuntu and distros like ubuntu make playback of downloaded video easy, and they also make adding sortware and repositories rather simple.currently im using the latest version of linux mint and i like it.and i have used several different versions of linux over the last 5 years or so.but thats just me.
