Saving configuration between uses
November 19, 2007 04:04PM

I'm wondering if there is a way to save the configuration of Elive to my Fat32 partition between uses. Also, wondering if there's a way to save application data (such as GAIM logins) to the Fat32 partition so I don't have to enter the information every time I boot the LiveCD. I know Knoppix has an application that does exactly this, so how do I do it with Elive?

I've searched forums, the wiki, FAQs, and google for information on saving my configuration between uses, and found nothing. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is an old post, but there seems to be no replies to it. I'd also like to know if there's a way. I need to keep it as a live version since it's being used as backup on multiple computers (I'm using usb, I could save preferences on the same usb stick)

There's a few Live CDs that can do it, i'd like to use elive but i might need to switch out
