The md5sum checks out on the .iso file, so it seems that the download was fine. The liveCD part works fine, but when I go to install, it hangs halfway through (as in, the progress bar stops moving and solitaire won't work anymore).
The installer says that the CD doesn't check out well when I test it at the beginning of the install, but I've tried to install anyway because I've never been able to burn an image to CD without errors. I've tried (in the past) multiple computers, multiple programs, multiple burning speeds, and good quality CDs, and have never had any luck. In the past, I was able to install Debian by using the business card or net install options.
Does anyone have any tips for (1) burning images to CD without errors, (2) why my install is stalling halfway through even though the md5sum of the download checks out fine, or (3) how I can install Elive otherwise?
