I have just upgraded my elive installation on HDD with the new compiz version. Amazing!

Just a problem: when I log in as an ordinary user, I can't su to root. No error message is returned but nothing happens. I'm sure of the root password because I can log as root.
Any idea?

Hello Plume , i just think that this disabled by default , or is a bug,
from Esu , you can do some things as root.

Thank's for your answer.
esu works from the root account, which is not very usefull, but not from other accounts.

Well, there are some other distros installed on my PC. So I tried su from Sidux ==> failed, Mandriva ==> failed, Vector Linux ==> works. I think that elive is not wrong but that there is a bug in my account.
As a workaround, I moved su to su_old and I made a symlink from VL's su to elive's one.
