Nevermind, I went into the Elpanel and was able to find a way to open a terminal as root. Pretty cool.
Anyway, here's what fdisk -l reports. I couldn't figure out how to copy/paste it so I've typed it all in. Normally I'd highlight the info in terminal, either press Ctrl+C or right-click on it and choose copy, but that didn't work. I also tried doing a screen capture of the terminal window and pasting it into Abiword but that didn't work, either. I guess I have even more to learn about with this new setup. Anyway, here's the info:
Disk /dev/sda: 80.0 GB, 80026361856 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 9729 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device = /dev/sda1; Boot = *; Start = 1; End = 9728; Blocks = 78140128+; Id = 7; System = HPFS/NTFS
Disk /dev/hda: 40.0 GB, 40016019456 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 4865 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x005e811
Device = /dev/hda1; Boot = [this was blank]; start 1; End 192; Blocks = 1542239+; Id = 82; System = Linux swap/Solaris
Device = /dev/hda2; Boot = *; Start = 193; End = 4865; Blocks = 37535872+; Id = 83; System = Linux
That's it. By the way, I did go into the panel and into the admin and system config and then mounter and unmounter manager but the drive doesn't show up in there.
