Printer server, windows, linux

I am new on Elive and linux, I have read in the internet but I wasn't able to solvemy issue:
I have 4 computer with Windows XP sp2, 1, router, 1 LAN DISK (that works as Printer Server too on a linux based system) with a HP deskjet pronter connected to it.
I can print from windows but if I try to configure and print from my Laptop with Elive, it doesn't work.
How can I configure my printer ?

Thank you

Did you already tried with the cups webinterface?
If not:
[*] Be sure that cups daemon is running by entering in a root terminal:
    /etc/init.d/cupsd restart
[*] Connect to the cups webinterface by starting iceweasel and go to:

Then follow link add printer and enter what is need...

Hope it helps

if you don't find a solution, you can also use a ghostscript
program to print in a file on " .pdf " format (PortableDocumentFile)
or " .ps " (PostScript) ... just an idea ...

Ever nice day

I've found the bug and now I can print but only if I set the printer as "Draft"mode. Strange....
Any suggest to make it works also in "normal mode" ?

it' depend of the printer driver and the printer, i think ...
Try to install the PostScript version ...
