How Can I Delete or Add Icons to the Bar?
January 30, 2010 10:55AM
Hi, I installed Open Office, and now have two invisible icons on the bar. How do I delete them? Replace them with a real Ooo visible icon? For that matter, how does one "iconize" a program that has been downloaded, but has no icon available to add to the bar?

Thanks in advance!

Right-click on the bar>applications.

That's a big help, thanks; I figured it was something basic.

Next - how can I find and add icons for programs that have no icons listed in the applications list I find after right-clicking on the bar?

Thanks again!

I think I found how:add an app with an icon you like to the bar(iTask-NG module in fact) and then right-click on the icon>edit icon,in the command line field just edit your needed app's command and voila',when you click on that icon it will start your favorite application. It worked for me.
