For some odd reason the "others" section of my menu displays every item that is installed on my system, it did not do this at first but it is doing so now... Any ideas why this may be? And is there a way I can fix it with out having to manually remove each of the duplicated items?
The menus are automatically generated, see XDG menu standards, if this happens to you should be because these applications doesn't has a correct .desktop file.
Can you please list the application names that has this problem ? I will do a few tests here
It was awhile ago, but I believe it was when I installed Cross Over and my SMART notebook software that the menus went haywire. I'll see if I can reproduce the issue on a clean install.
