Screengrab addon or plugin in Iceweasel, how do I get one?

Hi, I tested the live version first but due to me have no way to pay over paypal I decided to use the unstable version instead.

So I used elive_1.9.61-zeitgeist_unstable.iso and did a full install of that one on a compaq presario 8143.

The Elive 2.0 has a feature in Iceweasel that takes a screenshot so one can tell about things to other.
but the elive_1.9.61-zeitgeist_unstable.iso seems to miss that feature.

Can I add it by using some addon or plug in from Debian repository or how can I get that feature?

In 2.0 it worked by pushing the Print Scrn button on keyboard and then grab the screen.
Very handy if one look at live streaming video or something and want to catch something and tell others about it.
Sport, Cars whatever.

it is most likely a firefox addon don't know what its called but you can go to the tools menu select add-ons and Get Add-ons then search for the add-on you want.

I don't know how well it will work though since Elive 2.0 is probably optimised to use this feature properly. Also note that the more add-ons you put in iceweasel/firefox the slower it will run. This is a general issue with Mozila not the OS.

You could be right but I have looked through each of the 9 different such that comes up and it is not listed in the firefox either and they usually all of them have a symbol one click on and this one in 2.0 have no symbol and is not mention anywhere either and works only when one hit the print screen button above insert on some kbrds.

Very hand and way better than all of the others I have tested so sure I can be wrong but this one is really different to the rest.

Can it be "Shutter"? How can one find out and is it possible to move it from the 2.0 DVD or from the iso itself and apply it in 1.9....unstable

To be honest I'm not sure, I have not yet upgraded to Elive 2.0 there are a few things I need to do and check up on first before I upgrade.

but it should be listed in the installed addons from the tools menu

If the feature is enabled in the liveCD and it is a proper add-on for firefox then it should be in the profile settings for firefox/mozila in your /home folder it is a hidden folder so you'll need to hit

ctrl+h to display the hidden folders and copy them from the liveCD /home to your installed /home. Of course you'll loose all your bookmarks unless you save them beforehand

If its not a proper firefox add-on this will not work

one of the moderators here knew that it was a gnome-utils thing so I tried to download that one but didn't know how to activated it and after that I had the crash of the HDD that made elive stop working.

But I use it from the live USB rom instead which has Elive 2.0 on it.

best thing to do is go through the hidden folders in your /home folder in the liveCD mode and figure out what the application is called. Then install it using right click > Administration > synaptic
