Module Flame does'nt want to be disabled
November 01, 2009 01:27PM
Hi,
I've played a bit with modules and I got a problem with flame module: it simply does'nt want to be disabled, when I try, Enlightenment just bug and propose to recover or exit... And flames and still there...
I 'm with standard theme, but with 2 screens connected on Nvidia card.
Is there any way to disable the module "by hand" I mean by editing a file or enter a command?
Thanks

MerMouY

Hi Mermouy,

I had the same issue with Nvidia cards on dual monitors running dual X-Servers.
When I tried to disable the Flame emodule, it would crash Enlightnment, and the flames would never disappear.
I ended up logging into the Synaptic Package Manager and removing the emodule-flames much like yourself, to get rid of the silly thing.

I don't have the same issue when I run on a single monitor though, on my laptop or home computer. Only had the issue on dual monitor at work.
