Emodule-screenshot doesn't work anymore?
January 09, 2010 06:59AM
Hi,
I was using this module for a long time, I think it's one of the optionnals emodules I use the most, but since few versions it doesn't work anymore, now it's just creating an almost empty black image of 1px²!!??
Is anybody has same problem? A solution?
I don't know if a command line shot with this module can be made, if so it can maybe a bit more verbose about what's wrong...

Ciao,

MerMouY

Hi Mermouy,

I currently running kernel "2.6.30.9-elive-core2-highmem-686" with all the latest updates of eLive 1.9.56, and was able to create a screenshot. Unfortunately it only creates a screenshot of the primary screen on a dual monitor running dual X-Servers.

I would recommend the following:
1. Uninstall the emodule-screenshot using Synaptic Package Manager
2. Update the environment with latest upgrades
3. Re-install the emodule.
4. Post installation, add the emodule to your favorite shelf, and make sure to right click on it and check the settings. It may be that you need to tweak them a little bit.

Good luck.

Hi & thank,
I think now seeing this post and that one that it must be a nvidia-setting problem because I had 2 monitors before and I've try the dual mode so my xorg.conf have been mutilated by the nvidia configurator!!
So I should try to come back to the elive default xorg.conf and it should be ok...
Thanks !!!
