I love Elive, although I have a few problems with some hardware on my laptop. I am confident these will be resolved with updated versions.
However, I am wondering, with Thanatermesis as the only developer, how can he keep on with the project for the long-term?
It has been a massive job getting Elive this far, but once his current "To Do" list of new features is sorted out, will he be able to regularly update Elive, say on an annual basis? It just seems too much? Is it?
I would love to help, but I have no useful skills to contribute, so do what I can with the occasional small donation and posting my experiences and fixes on this forum.
Unless Elive can regularly release updates to support new hardware and provide the improved functionality of newer kernels I'm afraid users will be lost to other distributions that are able to this.
Is there a plan for the next few years?
Will more people be added to the development team?
What is the future of Elive?
