Update:fixed the boot problem. I was able to boot to xp using a boot usb drive and managed to fix the boot sequence,deleted the Elive partition ,and now I'm stuck again with my XPensive(thank god is working)system. I still don't get the problem.I had a dual boot with Ubuntu and XP once,another with OpenGeo&XP and never had this problem.The GRUB was installed to the MBR and workedby EnVision - Configurations and Hardware Solutions
First,I'd like to say that I'm a total newbie when it comes to linux,but a ferm believer in learning by doing Back to my problem:I've installed Elive on a logical partition inside an extended partition of my C: drive(drive G,did the usual partitioning process of swap,root(ext3),home(ext3),made sure i don't screw up and install something in the wrong place,installed GRUB on tby EnVision - Configurations and Hardware Solutions
