I want to see elivecd continue and prosper and I think the way it is funded gets in the way of being as popular as it perhaps could be. It is installed. It is the fastest OS I have run on my laptop, It runs super fast even on my old Thinkpad x23 backup/travel laptop. If I run in live mode I wouldnt have any internet as the broadcom wifi drivers are not installed on the live cd. Only Linux Mint and Ubuntu seem to have these on disc. Yes, he module did need adding, thanks! after a reboot I can access the keyboard language chooser from the "Other" settings menu I am still having a problem after each reboot, it doesn't remember the settings.by michaeljking - Configurations and Hardware Solutions

I have an HP Compaq 6720s with the broadcom 4312 wireless that doesn't work from the CD I used the debian page here and followed the guide and got a connection. My problem now is that everytime I boot up my wireless isnt detected and I have to go to the command line and type: $ modprobe wl $ iwconfig then my wifi can be selected and a connection made.
