Some of the newer Betas for linux can only be described as "flaky" in terms of their performance, it's not just elive that the above happens to, shortly before I dropped SLED 10 as a potential candidate for my next full time OS, Skype 1.4 had been freshly released. It did everything that you're describing there. Seems that things haven't changed in the mean time. Whicby the_leander - Applications

Greetings folks, I'd just like to say a big thankyou to the developers who put together one of the nicest user experiences I've ever come across. My old desktop (prior to its theft) was as follows: Abit KV8 AMD Athlon64 3000 - 2Ghz 512Mb ram Fx5200 gpu A couple of Hard drives and optical drives Networking curtesy of an el cheepo Realtek pci card.
