Running Elive w/Compiz on an ASUS Eee 900A. Today I ran Synaptic, updated the list of available packages, and marked all updates for installation. There was an update to the kernel without a change in version number, but I let it continue. I rebooted immediately after the installation finished. This is an Enlightenment issue rather than an Elive issue, I think, but--I click on the icon to set the CPU frequency policy and then make my choice, and a submenu pops up--but it's hanging off the edge of the screen, so I have no idea what my choices are. Is there a way to tell it to draw the submenu on the other side of the parent to keep it from being unreadable?by jejones3141 - [OLD] - Installed Mode
Hi. I am very much impressed by what I've seen of Elive (enough to donate), and I grabbed the ISO for Elive Compiz, used unetbootin, and after a false start (hint: when unetbootin says you need to install p7zip, install p7zip!), I had a bootable partition on a 2GB flash drive, all set to try out on my Eee 900A freshly upgraded to 2 GB and a much faster 32 GB SSD.
