The clock gadget really isn't in keeping with the quality of the rest of the desktop - It just doesn't fit in with the rest of it and stands out like a sore thumb I've done some searching on Get-E and various other places and haven't been able to find a digital clock either - The nearest I found meant I'd have to apply a whole theme that I didn't want! You can just ALT+TAB, like in Windows - It even automatically moves your mouse-pointer to the selected window! Or you can configure the middle mouse-button to work in any zone .. I've seen lots of people ask how to move the Elpanel It's easy Simply hold down the ALT-key and grab it with your mouse - You can then let go of the ALT-key and move it anywhere you like There ... I really do But I've had nothing but trouble with it so far It seems that the version of isolinux used for GEM just doesn't like certain optical devices and won't boot into the liveCD ... I have the same problem It might be to do with the fact that I installed through Qemu over SLAX ... (long story) ... or it might not, by the looks of things However, you can get into X with 'startx' at the commandline If this doesn't work ... or you get a weird disply (monochrome / wrong resolution / etc.) ... log in as root and execute 'dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserveby LoL - [OLD] - Installed Mode
