That sounds like a Hardware/Driver Problem with the ethernet-card. Are you using ethernet? Or WiFi? What Version of Elive are you using? Did the other Distros you mentioned run on the same machine you try to use Elive on?by AlexAnteMachina - [OLD] - Installed Mode
Unfortunately I have never done that and have no experience in this. How about asking in #elive on irc.freenode.net ? have Fun.by AlexAnteMachina - [OLD] - Installed Mode

Itask-NG is not available in GEM! GEM is simply too old. Download and install latest dev-version. It's quite stable and works very well.by AlexAnteMachina - [OLD] - Installed Mode
Hallo MEETmou! Was du nicht alles wissen willst... und das alles auf einmal! Da bekommt man ja nen Schreibkrampf. Nimm die neueste Dev-version.by AlexAnteMachina - [OLD] - Installed Mode

Hi! Your white theme is nice! I really like it! But to be honest I would not call it white but light-gray. Or did my eyes trick me?by AlexAnteMachina - Users corner
No, it does not. 32bit-OS only supports up to 4GB. In Case you really need 8GB RAM you will have to switch to a 64bit OS. But I wonder what you need 8GB RAM for? No "normal" User these days needs 8GB RAM. That's A LOT! Even on 64bit-OS!by AlexAnteMachina - [OLD] - Installed Mode
This is a well known, but minor Bug. It will be fixed in the future.by AlexAnteMachina - Hacks
Well, first of all you need to know that all Elive-versions are Life-Systems. This means you can easily try them without an install. Just boot from CD and have Fun! Elive-dev Versions are not as unstable as some might think. I'm using latest 1.9.26 and it runs quite well and stable. So in Case latest dev-version would do the job you can either install it "over" your Version.by AlexAnteMachina - Configurations and Hardware Solutions
How about trying latest dev-Version? This may support your Device by default.by AlexAnteMachina - Configurations and Hardware Solutions
