In Windows, Ubuntu and several OS I am used to have some kind Update Manager notifying me that updates are available. Either for my operating system or installed software ( applications). How is it managed in Elive(Debian) ? Do we need to updates the OS, kernel, Elive components ourselves ? What about software we installed as LibreOffice ? JFby jfb - Installed Mode

Hello, 1) Trial : I know you want to live from Elive, but making it difficult to try it, with so many distros on the market, does it help you ? Just brainstorming, I am not sure neither. Exemple I signed as a patreon to give Elive " little amount" of money monthly, but I still have to wait 24 hours to try the last version ( as a patreon). I created without any problem a USB stick with Elive ( LIVE_OS, LIVE_BOOT) My HP stream can boot it but goes into problem when try to active the GUI. So it fail My HD Desktop i5 with an SSD can't even boot with the USB I would like to test it on Oracle Virtual Box, if i like it, then, gith to make it work on my HP Desktop Tks ! JFby jfb - Live Mode
